THE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

SALICYLIC ACID (0.1%): Especially useful in the treatment of acne due to its ability to penetrate the follicle. Salicylic acid helps to balance the abnormal desquamation process that occurs in acne skin, removing dead skin cells and helping to keep pores clean. It means that the number of blocked pores and therefore inflammations and are reduced.

TEA TREE OIL: one of its most important properties is its antibacterial and antiseptic power acting against viruses, bacteria, fungi and yeasts. That disinfecting power and being astringent, it reduces inflammation, infection and dry the blackheads and pimples. Unlike OTHER compounds, tea tree oil does not sweep the natural oils from the skin so keep it balanced.

ROSEMARY: its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties are very useful in the treatment of acne as it purifies the pores.

Electrodynamic patch composed of fabric with embedded photovoltaic cells that use the iontophoresis mechanism to treat hyperhidrosis. The micro-currents generated by the patch on contact with the skin moderate the activity of the sweat cells in the affected area, helping curb excessive perspiration.

INDICATIONS

Perspiration is a normal physiological process. However, when secretion of sweat exceeds 100 mg/cm2/ minute it is classified as an anomaly known as hyperhidrosis.

Often, hyperhidrosis is associated with anxiety or nervousness. It is more common in women, especially those going through the menopause. This condition can appear in isolated regions of the body, or in a more generalised fashion.

The iontophoretic patch is indicated for treatment of hyperhidrosis of the hands, feet and armpits.

CLINICAL RESULTS

Application of weak currents has been shown over the course of many years to be the most effective treatment for hyperhidrosis, and many articles have been written which testify to this.

The present method used by doctors involves conduction of an electrical current to the patient’s hands, which are submerged in a water-filled basin. Just one daily application over a short period of time (5–10 days) significantly decreases hand perspiration.

Therefore, this product represents a novel and improved treatment for hyperhidrosis.
